I have only been taking it for 1 month so far. I have taken less than the recommended dosage because for me, it made me too energized for the first hour after taking it. I have been taking 1/2 to 3/4 of a teaspoon in the morning and the same dose in the afternoon. I have not taken it at night. I started taking it because my friend started taking it and loved it. For her the purple rice cleared up her red skin and made it smoother. It also seems to control her blood pressure and she no longer takes medication for that. It has lowered her cholesterol substantially and she feels great. She has energy and no aches and pains in her joints any longer. For me, I definitely have softer, smoother skin and my keratosis pilaris has completely cleared up. ( This is a skin condition on my arms which causes rough skin and I get scabs.) I have lost a couple of pounds, maybe because I have more energy and I am doing more. I really like it. So far so good !

Great product. Probably not well known but this product provides energy over time throughout the day. It's not like a candy sugar rush or energy drink rush. It slowly but surely releases energy. Also, not sold as a sleep aid but somehow taken before sleep this products helps one get better deeper quality sleep and along with the slow release of energy the next day it improves quality of life for those who struggle with lack of rest. Don't take drug/sleep pills. Try this. I have used it for about 4 years, approx 2-4 times a week. No dependency like drugs. I wished I owned part of this company! Products mostly sold through multilevel marketing - I don't particularly like that aspect of it but the products are super high quality hence the price. I hope this review helps someone. I just wrote this review today, and just found out my neighbor tried and experience the same results with this product. I'm telling you...I should own shares with this company. I've personally recommended it to several friends and they love it. I can't say enough only because this thing saved my life ...quality of life is so important and those of us that struggle with sleep know that best!

I'm 49 years old. I was so tired when I got home I couldn't work out, and would fall to sleep at 8:00pm, get up at 10:00pm, pull myself off of the sofa and plop in bed. I left the Alfa pxp Royale sitting in the cabinet, thinking...forbidden rice? , what the heck is that?. I took the stuff out, and mixed it in with my daily concoction of vitamins, whey protein, etc. that I take in hopes of working out-(I just rarely ever got there). I took one teaspoon full of this stuff, (Thursday) and worked out, completing a heavier workout, and, after work. Skipped Friday, but took a teaspoon. The next day, Saturday, I took the recommended 3 teaspoonfuls that day, and worked out in the morning, first with the treadmill, (I never do both treadmill and weights anymore) then with weights, then went on a bicycle ride-road bike-much further than normal. Then comes Sunday...I do the same thing, only I worked out my legs, had plenty of energy all day, both days, and gave some to my wife-who was sick with the flu. She got energy that lasted through the afternoon. No shakes, no side-effects detected, just consistent energy. I write this because I've literally tried everything, except those awful caffeine energy drinks, this was the only thing that has worked so far.
